Would you believe it? July na pala.

Half of 2025 — gone in a blink.

And here I am, finally opening this page again to write to you.

But you know how life goes.. it happened, in all its messy glory.

I got sick.

Then I got better only to catch another bug.

And my little boy? He got sick too. Got better. Then sick again.

So the past weeks have been a cycle of medicine, fever checks, sleepless nights, and full-on Mom Mode.

I had plans.

I had a podcast episode ready.

Guest episode, all lined up, ready to be edited and uploaded but life said, “Rest ka muna.”

So I did.

But here’s what I’m grateful for: Work-from-home life makes this possible.

Remote work means I get to adjust.

When my child needs me, I’m there.

When my body needs rest, I can take it.

When life says pause, I don’t have to force myself to hustle like crazy just to look “busy”.

That’s the core of working remotely, right?

Not just the freedom to skip traffic or work in comfy clothes (love ko rin yun, syempre) 

but the freedom to design your life around what truly matters.

This blog, this podcast, these side projects?  They’re all close to my heart.

But my family comes first.

My health comes first.

So what’s next for The Virtual Assistant Diary?

💛 I’ll rest and recover.

🎂 I’ll celebrate another year of life soon (birthday ko na!)

And once I’m fully back on my feet, I’ll be back with more podcast episodes. They’re all waiting in my drafts, just waiting for the right time.

And to you reading this, thank you for being here.
