I still can’t believe I’m writing this.

After all the years, pauses, pivots, and personal detours… The Virtual Assistant Diary is finally live again.

What started in 2010 as a simple blog on WordPress, a place where I quietly shared my thoughts as a new virtual assistant has now become something I never could’ve imagined.

Back then, remote work wasn’t even a buzzword. There were no free webinars, no online courses, no Facebook groups. It was just me, a laptop, and a dream to work from home so I could do the things I’m passionate about.

I didn’t know what I was doing. But I wrote anyway.

I documented what I could – wins, mistakes, lessons, and the quiet in-betweens.

Why I Brought It Back

So much has happened in the past 15 years  professionally and personally.
From being a part-time back-office admin to managing international clients, running an agency, becoming a wife and mom, losing everything in a robbery, and slowly rebuilding it all again… I’ve lived many versions of my VA life.

But there was always this quiet tug in my heart to go back to why I started:
To share.
To help.
To give others a real, honest look at what being a virtual assistant can truly be; the highs, the heartbreaks, the hope.

That’s why I’m bringing The Virtual Assistant Diary back. Not as just a blog, but as a growing ecosystem of resources, mentorship, and heart-led conversations for those who are ready to thrive in this digital world.
